The following criteria will be used for evaluation of nominees:
- The nominee's outstanding degree of recognition as a Parry McCluer High School athlete, coach, administrator, or contributor
- The significance or stature of the nominee's accomplishments as a Parry McCluer athlete as determined by statistical records of the number and stature of awards received
- Distinctive or unique accomplishments which attracted public attention or acclaim to the nominee or Parry McCluer High School
- Achievement, leadership, and/or unique accomplishments as evidenced by:
- Post season honors such as All district, All Regional, All State, All-American, MVP, etc.
- Team Captain
- Record setting performance
- Participation in numerous sports at the varsity level-number of letters in varsity career
- Outstanding careers in college and/or professional sports
- Outstanding careers in coaching or sports related fields
