Mr. Tuning

I teach World History I, World Geography, and serve as the National Honor Society adviser. I am excited to start my fourth year here at Parry McCluer High School, and my eighth year overall.

I was born and raised in Augusta County. I have a B.S. in Social Sciences from Liberty University and my M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in history also from LU. I hold Virginia certification for both 6-12 English and 6-12 History/Social Sciences.

When not in school I enjoy playing tennis, reading, cooking, and traveling. I have traveled to England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Greece, and Turkey. I am excited to be teaching history, helping students see connections to today. I look forward to working with you and your student for the 2019-2020 school year.
