It was a close contest early, with the Blues holding on to a slim 9-8 advantage after the first quarter, and the Blue Devils were in front, 11-9, when Maverick Goad knocked down a three-pointer with 6:24 to play before halftime. But Grayson County didn’t hit another shot in that span.

With the victory, the Blues advanced to the regional semifinals, where they will face George Wythe, Thursday, Feb. 23, at Pulaski County High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
